College is getting more expensive in California, so many students use the WUE schools program to save money. In California WUE schools, there charge less money for students who don’t live there. This means that more people can get a good education without spending too much money. California has really good schools that participate in the WUE program. They have many different programs for both undergraduates and graduates in many different areas of study. In California, there are many schools you can pick from, whether you want a big research university or a small liberal arts college.

1. California State Polytechnic University, Pomona

Cal Poly Pomona is a public university in Pomona, California that focuses on technical and practical education.

The California State Polytechnic University started as Cal Poly Voorhis Unit in San Dimas, California, in 1938. Cal Poly, a university, started giving diplomas for two-year degrees in 1938 and four-year degrees in 1940. 2. California State University, Chico

California State University, Chico is a school that anyone can go to and it’s in a place called Chico in California, United States. The university started on March 12, 1887. Right now, 16,630 students go to the university for classes in fall 2020.

California State University, Dominguez Hills, is a school that anyone can go to. It’s in Carson, California, in the United States. In 1960, South Bay State College was started for the first time. CSUDH is a college that is part of many colleges in California called the California State University system. Cal Poly Humboldt is a school in Arcata, California that is funded by the government. This is one of three technical colleges in California State University. The school was made for teachers on June 16, 1913 by Hiram Johnson, who was the governor of California at that time. It got its name from a famous German scientist named Alexander von Humboldt.

13. University of California, Merced

The University of California, Merced is a school in Merced, California where people can do research. It’s a public school that gets money from the government to help pay for things. This is the newest campus of the University of California and it is the tenth one. A new school called University of California, Merced started on September 5th, 2005. 14. California State University, Bakersfield

California State University, Bakersfield is a school in Bakersfield which anyone can attend. It all started in 1965 when Kern State College was founded.

The university has 39 choices for bachelor’s degrees and 17 options for master’s degrees. The university has a program where you can get a doctorate degree in leading educational organizations (Ed. D)

In the fall of 2021, there were over 11,000 students in the school. They were studying in four different areas: Arts and Humanities, Business and Public Administration, Natural Sciences, Mathematics, and Engineering, and Social Sciences and Education. The university helps Hispanic students.

California State University Channel Islands is a school that anybody can go to. It is in Ventura County, California. The school started in 2002.
