On Thursday, November 4, 2021, the National Universities Commission (NUC) conducted resource verification at the university. The NUC granted the university its accreditation to provide degree programs during this visit.
Thus, Delta State University of Science and Technology Ozoro became Nigeria’s number 52 state university.
