1. Dnipropetrovsk Medical Academy

The Dnipropetrovsk Medical Academy is an official state institution affiliated directly with the Ukrainian Ministry of Health. This confers it exceptional authority within Ukraine. It is also one of the oldest universities in the country, as it was based in 1916 as a higher education institute for female medical students.

This medical school in Ukraine has many international partnerships which support its continuous development in research and teaching. 2. Kharkiv National Medical University

5. Kyiv National Medical University – Faculty of General Medicine

Also known as the O.O. Bogomolets National Medical University, the Kyiv university for medical studies offers an M.D. course as part of its Faculty of General Medicine. There are both undergraduate and postgraduate degrees available and they are taught in Russian, Ukrainian and English.

This is a hub for medical study in this country and the largest medical university in Ukraine, given that it is located in the capital city. 6. Ternopil State Medical University
