This is the first on our best law schools in Ukraine for international students. Since the 19th century, Kyiv has had a university. In 1834, it welcomed its first 35 legal scholars. The Law School first covered topics from the legal encyclopedia, as well as fundamental Russian Empire laws and regulations, civil and state law, commercial law, industrial law, criminal law, and many other topics. It now comprises 17 departments and provides courses leading to bachelor’s, master’s, doctorate, and specialized degrees. The University of Kyiv Faculty of Law is regarded as Ukraine’s top law institution.
Three LL.B. degrees in law are offered by the Faculty of Law: an LL.B. in law taught in Ukrainian, an LL.B. in law for a junior specialist level, and an LL.B. in law taught in Russian. One of the top law schools in Ukraine, Donetsk National University’s Law School was established in 1983 and is still expanding. With four departments—Business Law, Civil Law and Procedure, Theory and History of the State and Law and Administrative Law, and Constitutional, International and Criminal Law—it has more than 800 students enrolled in its bachelor’s and master’s degree programs. A legal clinic and the Law Journal of Donetsk University, a journal of law, are also available to teach legal academics in critical thinking.
The full-time Bachelor of Law program at the Law School can be finished in three years, ten months. The cost of an LL.B. is about USD 3,000, or roughly USD 770 each academic year. The Master of Law is a full-time degree that can be completed in one year and four months through either traditional classroom instruction or online study. The total cost of the curriculum is around USD 1505, or USD 1052 for remote learning. Applicants must hold an LL.B. degree, pass the legal entrance exam, and be admitted to the LL.M. program.
3. Odessa National University – Faculty of Law

The Faculty of Law has its roots in 1661 and is one of Ukraine’s oldest legal institutions. These ten departments make up the faculty’s current structure: Administrative and financial law, Civil law and procedure, Constitutional law, Criminal law and criminology, Criminal procedure and criminalistics, Fundamentals of Ukrainian law, State history, law and political law teachings, Intellectual property, information and corporate law, Social law, and Theory and philosophy of law. The Faculty of Law grants bachelor’s, master’s, doctorate, and Ph.D. degrees.
The master’s degree needs a Bachelor of Laws and is finished in one year and nine months, but the bachelor’s degree is a 240-ECTS degree that can be earned in three years and ten months. The Law School was first founded in 1996 at the Faculty of Humanities, then in 1999 it became the Faculty of Law. It has five departments: Theory and History of State and Law, State Legal Studies, Civil Law Studies, Municipal and Administrative Law Studies, and Justice and Criminal Law Studies.

The Law School provides a postgraduate program, a second-cycle Master’s Degree in Law (professional and scientific program), and a first-cycle Bachelor’s Degree in Law. The master’s degree requires 90 credits and is completed in one year and six months, whereas the bachelor’s program is a full-time, 240-credit program that may be finished in three years and ten months.
