Best Bible Verses For Prayer
Which verses from the Bible are the best for praying? I suggest three that are easy to understand: the New Living Translation, the New International Version, and the New International Readers Version.
Every edition has a translation that helps people learn more and improve themselves, making it perfect for people who are new to the Bible.
New Living Translation Version – This kind of translation changes complete ideas to modern English instead of just substituting each word. So now we have a Bible that is easy to understand and written in normal words.
The NIV is a version of the Bible made by a group of smart people who wanted to make sure it sounded like present-day English, while also keeping the same meaning as the original text. We are still making changes to it. The NIV is the most popular English Bible.
The New International Readers Version is like the NIV, but made simpler to read and understand.
When my children received an Adventure Bible For Early Readers with this translation, I was introduced to it. It claimed to get youngsters (ages 6-10) enthused about getting into God’s Word, which I can attest to. Yes, there are NIrV bibles available for adults as well!
A good translation may make a huge difference!
What is the easiest version of the bible to understand?
Which Bible is easiest to read?
The NLT is a Bible that’s easy to understand and read, so it’s great for people who are new to reading the Bible. I use this version when I read the Bible to our kids and on my blog.
The original Bible was written in Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek languages. The Bible has been translated into different versions so people can understand it better.
Some languages and versions of the Bible are easier to understand than others. Some people prefer to read the King James Version or other versions that are not easy to understand in everyday language.
When readers get frustrated and find it hard to read these versions, they stop trying to find the truth. It is very important to have a bible that is written in easy and modern English so that anyone can understand it easily.
Best Bible Version For Beginners: Adult
If you’re an adult looking for the best bible version for beginners, I highly recommend the Life Application Study Bible NLT Version. This is the best bible to read and understand!
Don’t be put off by the phrase “study Bible.” A study bible contains a wealth of extra information and tools that might help you better understand what you’re reading.
A study bible will frequently include the following.
- Book Introductions for each book of the bible
- Timelines
- Maps and Charts to help explain the context
- Personality Profiles to offer focused information on particular individuals
- Verses to cross-reference verses
- Text Notes, Comparisons, & Explantations
- And SO much more
These are additional resources that are available in study bibles to help better explain and improve your bible reading experience. They can greatly help and offer explanations to you as you read.
I still use mine on a daily basis and love the extra information!
Easy To Read Bible for Adults
Along with the NLT edition of the Life Application Study Bible, the NIV version is also a simple to read bible for adults and youth. It is, in my opinion, the greatest NLT bible for beginners.
The Life Application Study Bible is the greatest NLT bible available. For as long as I can remember, I’ve been a fan of the Life Application Study Bible. Another fantastic and easy-to-read bible for adults is the NIV Life Application Study Bible.
Best Bible Version For Beginners: Children
Our children are 9 and 12 years old, and we have gone through various different bibles since they were babies. I have a handful of choices for youngsters and the finest bible edition for beginners.
My son is currently reading the NIrV Adventure Bible, while my daughter has been reading the NIV Ultimate Bible for Girls for the past year and continues to like it. These have been the best bible versions for our children’s age.
Personal Note: Since I was probably around ten years old, I’ve liked reading my bible and getting into God’s Word. When I was small, I remember thinking my bible was so beautiful that I liked reading it. My bible had gleaming gold-edged pages, a plethora of “girl-related” devotionals, and “Fun Facts,” and I was allowed to take notes in it. This has stayed with me all these years.
Those “extras” are what initially drew me to read my bible. It didn’t take long for me to acquire a life-long passion for pouring into God’s word and witnessing it come to life.
So, I apply the same notion with my children. Whatever age-appropriate bible appeals to them – generally because of “the extras” – I make the investment.
Bibles can be expensive but it never ever compares to the eternal value they bring. Consider that when you are shopping for the best bible version for beginners!
